Drive Your Motorhome Like a Pro

Drive Your Motorhome Like a Pro is a complete guide to professional driving techniques for beginners to experience drives. It takes commercial driving training techniques and converts them to layman's terms. It explains basic rule so you can apply them to anything that you might drive.

Drive Your Motorhome Like A Pro details the basic mechanics of maneuvering, what to do before you start, driving situations, braking and the mind set needed to be a safe driver. Lorrin Walsh provides the basic mechanics so you can apply them to any vehicle you drive.

Lorrin Walsh first got involved with RVs in the early sixties when his parents bought a 13-foot camp trailer. Later he bought a trailer of his own, and then traded it for a motorhome in 1975. He and his wife have just purchased their sixth motorhome. A few years ago, after retirement from his job as a quality assurance inspector, Lorrin wet to work for Gray Line of Seattle as a driver/guide, just for fun. As he went through their training he realized how much he knew, how much he thought he knew, but did not understand, and how much he did not know. After becoming an instructor he also realized that there were millions of baby boomers out there with the same experience. That is when he decided to take the techniques of commercial driving and translate them into layman’s terms. He currently works for them and their parent company, Holland America Line, where he does six to seven-month promotional trips during the winter on the East Coast driving a 45-foot motor coach.
